Raymond possesses a wide range of professional, academic, and teaching interests, with a particular emphasis on enabling diverse and innovative practices in teams, organizations, and boards. For the last 14 years, he has held progressively senior positions in the public and private sectors in Canada, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. An expert on workplace health and safety management and strategic governance, he is widely recognized as a thought leader in his field. Throughout his career, he has delivered numerous professional courses, conference presentations, and academic programs related to applied health management and business management.
He has received numerous professional awards (see a selected list below). Aside from that, he is the youngest ever health and safety management professional to receive the Chartered Fellowship – from the IOSH in the United Kingdom. Chartered Fellowships are awarded only to those who demonstrate exceptional dedication to their profession by going “above and beyond” the call of duty.
He has proactively advised numerous organizations across sectors, including construction, energy, education, and public administration, by providing strategic vision and thought leadership to the senior leadership team aimed at improving the overall health and well-being of employees and enhancing organizational performance.
When Raymond is not teaching, conducting research or consulting, he mentors exceptional students and professionals, and serves on local, national, and international boards as part of his belief that providing enrichment to the community is a fundamental responsibility.
