Heather Burke, CPA, CA

Ms. Burke was appointed as Vice-President for Administration and Finance in 2007. She holds a B.B.A. from University of New Brunswick. Ms. Burke completed her Chartered Accountants designation in 2001.

From 1999-2007, Ms. Burke was employed at Grant Thornton LLP in Moncton, NB where she served as a senior manager in the accounting and auditing stream specializing in not-for-profit organizations. In 2005 and 2006, Ms. Burke served as the national coordinator and instructor for Grant Thornton’s preparatory course for the CA Uniform Final Evaluation. In her time at Crandall University, she has also served as a guest lecturer in the Business Faculty.

Ms. Burke is a member of First Moncton United Baptist Church and is a member of the Church Council and serves as Vice Treasurer. She has also served as a Deacon and on the board of Miracles at First Daycare. She is also actively involved in the music ministries of First Baptist Moncton in the choir, the handbell choir, and as a soloist.
