Scheduling an External Exam at Crandall

We are pleased to provide proctoring services for students writing examinations from other institutions. We are able to accommodate paper and online exams. Please refer to the information below before you schedule an exam with us.

Times & Location

Exams are normally scheduled on Mondays to Fridays at 9:00 AM or 1:30 PM from September to June. Afternoon exams are usually scheduled for 1:00 PM during the months of July and August due to summer hours.

Spaces are limited when Crandall students are writing exams in April and December each year. We also are unable to accommodate exam requests for the week before and the week after Labour Day.

The meeting place for campus exams is the Registrar’s Office in Suite 146 of Stultz Hall. Please report to the reception desk at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your exam.

Proctoring Fees for Exams at Crandall

Starting April 15, 2024, the fee for having an exam proctored is $80.00 for exams up to 4 hours in length, plus $20.00 for each additional hour.

Fees are due prior to the exam being written. Payment can be made in person by cash, credit, or debit.

Any courier costs or special handling costs are extra and must be ordered and paid for in advance.

Please complete the External Exam Request Form below to request a time to write your exam in accordance with the timelines given to you by your university.

You will receive a confirmation by email when your exam has been scheduled.

Winter Storm Policy

If the University campus is closed due to weather, all exams scheduled that day will also be automatically cancelled, and will be rescheduled by Crandall University’s Registrar’s Office. Exams may also be cancelled due to forecasted weather. Please monitor weather forecasts to consider rescheduling your exam in advance of a scheduled time slot, if warranted. Safety is important.
