Home > International Academic Programs > Master of Organizational Management – International

The Master of Organizational Management (MOrgM) – International pathway is a 12-month, 30 credit-hour program offered to international students as an alternative to the MBA. It focuses more on working with, and through, people than on the technical aspects of business administration. The program is currently offered on a condensed one course per month basis to allow students a singular subject focus.

Our Master of Organizational Management program is offered each September intake. The next opportunity to apply is September 2023, international applicants are welcome to submit applications starting October 2022.

Program highlights

The value of obtaining the Master of Organizational Management is that all organizations require effective management. The program uses an interdisciplinary approach and draws on the academic strength of faculty from a variety of disciplines who are excellent educators and typically build strong relationships with students.

This 12 month, 30 credit-hour program is delivered in a format that allows international students to focus on one course at a time and have the freedom to work part time (if their study visa allows). Courses are delivered two nights per week for four weeks.

Students who complete the program are eligible to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit from the Government of Canada.

Program Schedule

Students typically take 3 courses per semester normally completing the program in 12 months.

Each course requires 5 hours of in-class contact time per week over four weeks plus 20 hours of outside of class time commitment each week for a total of 25 hours per week and 100 hours per course. Students take only one course at a time in this unique delivery model.

The Master of Organizational Management program is completed in a structured cohort model with courses offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening. It is comprised of 30 credit hours in total.
