The Master of Organizational Management (MOrgM) offered by Crandall University is a people-focused program that prepares passionate professionals for leadership and management roles within their organizations. This differs from a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in that it will focus more on working with and through people than on the technical aspects of business administration. 

The Master of Organizational Management is intended for passionate, dedicated, team-oriented working professionals looking to maximize their potential in managing people and leading organizations. Unlike an MBA, which usually focuses specially on the basic business disciplines of accounting, marketing, and operations, the Master of Organizational Management is about developing big-picture strategies and understandings and especially the knowledge necessary to lead and motivate people.

The value of obtaining the Master of Organizational Management is that all organizations require effective management. The program uses an interdisciplinary approach and draws on the academic strength of faculty from a variety of disciplines who are excellent educators and typically build strong relationships with students.

Program Schedule

Each of the ten courses includes 4 hours of in-class time per week over a six-week period and most students require an additional 12-15 hours per week outside of class to complete coursework and assignments. Students may take up to two courses at a time.

The Master of Organizational Management program is completed in a structured cohort model with courses offered in the evenings, allowing students to work while studying.

Study part time

Students who wish to study part time attend class one night per week, and normally complete the program in approximately 20 months.

Study full time

Students who enrol full time normally complete the program in 12 months.

1. Apply online

   Choose “Register here” on the login screen if it’s your first time applying to a program at Crandall.

   A $50 non-refundable application fee is required with your application.

   A $100 non-refundable application fee is required for international applicants.

2. Provide transcripts

   Contact all previous post-secondary educational institutions you have attended (community colleges, universities, etc.) and ask them to send official transcripts to us at:

   *Notarized transcripts can be sent by International applicants for the application process, however official transcripts will need to be sent before acceptance is issued.

3. Send us your résumé and cover letter.

   A detailed resume of previous and current post-secondary education, as well as employment experience (minimum of two year of full-time experience), is required. Please provide a cover letter that explains why you are interested in applying for the Master of Organizational Management.

4. International Applicants

   International Students must obtain a study visa from the Government of Canada – Immigration and Citizenship in order to be eligible to study at Crandall University. Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of proficiency in both oral and written English. Please see English Language Proficiency Requirements for more details. All International Students must obtain a study visa from the Government of Canada – Immigration and Citizenship in order to be eligible to study at Crandall University.

International students who wish to work part time while studying may do so if permitted by the student’s study visa – usually up to 24 hours per week.

Successful completion of the program makes international students eligible to apply for the Government of Canada’s three-year Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
