    Christian Foundations Certificate

    This one-year program gives students an introduction to basic Christian studies as well as to university level study. The program may also serve as the first year towards a baccalaureate degree at Crandall, should any student wish to continue their post-secondary education.

    Program Requirements

    Biblical Studies Requirements (12 credit hours)

    • 3 from RS1003 – Themes of the Bible
    • 3 from RS1403 – The Christian Way
    • 3 from RS2003 – Old Testament and its Context
    • 3 from RS2033 – New Testament and its Context

    Biblical or Christian Studies Electives (6 credit hours)

    Six credit hours in Biblical or Christian Studies electives must be completed to fulfill this requirement. These courses are denoted by a Religious Studies course number with a second digit equal to or lower than seven.

    Core or Area Electives (6 credit hours)

    Six credit hours in Arts, Business Administration, or Science courses which fulfill the core or area requirements of those degree programs.

    Electives (6 credit hours)

    Elective options are needed to complete a total of 18 credit hours for this program.
