Program Options


The IBCom program is especially designed so international students can receive in-depth knowledge and practical experience with the financial aspects of successful North American business ventures related to both resource and human capital.

Graduates of this program will be desirable to many multi-national corporations, businesses involved in foreign trade, government and public institutions, international relief and environmental organizations. This 120 credit degree is designed to be completed by including a block of 60 transfer credits from a partnering international pathway university with an established agreement with Crandall University.

Admission Requirements
  • IBCom applicants must attend a recognized pathway university
  • Applicants must have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours of prerequisite courses with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4 point scale.
  • Applicants of the IBCom may qualify to receive conditional admission to Crandall University with the demonstration of an IELTS (or equivalent) score of 5.5 in English proficiency.

All International Students must obtain a study visa from the Government of Canada – Immigration and Citizenship in order to be eligible to study at Crandall University.

In the BBA program, international students study alongside Canadian students. The program provides a student with the highly sought after skills of critical thinking, time and resource management, and other best business practices within each of the following concentrations of business: management, marketing, accounting, or economics & finance. This degree is offered as a full 120 credit degree program (4 academic years).

Students transferring into the BBA with a block transfer of a minimum of 30 credits under the parameters of a partnership agreement with Crandall University will be admitted to complete the final 90 hours of credit of a BBA degree.

  • BBA transfer applicants must have a minimum of 30 transferable credit hours from a recognized post-secondary institution with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4 point scale.
  • Transfer applicants into the BBA may qualify to receive conditional admission to Crandall University with the demonstration of an IELTS (or equivalent) score of 5.5 in English proficiency.

All International Students must obtain a study visa from the Government of Canada – Immigration and Citizenship in order to be eligible to study at Crandall University.

Becoming a teacher can be one of the most rewarding professions available. Crandall’s Bachelor of Education is consistently noted as one of the top Education programs in New Brunswick, and is gaining world-wide recognition! Graduates of the B.Ed program are eligible to receive certification through the Province of New Brunswick.

International students wanting to apply to our B.ED. program will need to hold a valid Bachelor’s degree in a teachable subject matter. This degree will need to be validated by the Province of New Brunswick, and students will need to have successfully achieved 105 credit hours or more in their first undergraduate degree program.

International students will also need to demonstrate their comprehension of the English language. International student applicants to the B.Ed. who demonstrate a minimum of a 6.5 IELTS (or equivalent) may qualify for conditional admission. All students applying to the Bachelor of Education are required to participate in an interview with Crandall Education faculty to be eligible for successful admission.

English Language Acquisition & Proficiency Programs (ELA & ELP)

Crandall University is excited to offer these unique programs to our International students who may need additional support in their English language proficiency.

The ELA Pilot program allows International students who demonstrate an English language comprehension of 5.5 IELTS (or equivalent) to receive a conditional acceptance letter from Crandall University. Students will be required to attend the ELA program in August prior to attending their first semester at Crandall. This one month program will provide students with an in-depth educational experience to improve the English language skills. Students will study on campus and will receive 120 hours of instruction.

Tuition & Materials Cost:

$2,400 CAD (due 2 weeks prior to commencement of program)
Spaces are limited.

Upon successful completion of the ELA program, student’s conditions on admission will then be reviewed.

English Language Proficiency Program (ELP)

The ELP program is a mandatory program designed for international students enrolled at Crandall University who demonstrate an English language proficiency of 6.0 – 6.5 IELTS score (or equivalent).

Students will enroll in the ELP while studying in their program at Crandall University. This non-credit program will take place in their first semester and will be repeated in the second semester if required. Students enrolled in the ELP will be eligible to register for up to 4 courses (12 credit hours) per semester. There will be no additional cost for this course in a student’s semester tuition. A student must successfully complete the ELP course before registering for their final year of study.

This program will allow students to grow in their English proficiency and will assist them to be successful in their studies at Crandall.

Stay in Canada after you Graduate

International students who graduate from Crandall University are eligible to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit. Contact us for more information, or visit Canada Imigration and Citizenship‘s website.

Application Process

Students applying for International Transfer will need to pay a $100 CAD application fee. This fee is non-refundable and will allow you to submit your transcripts and application to Crandall University. Students will also be required to cover all costs associated with document verification and study visa applications.

Upon acceptance into Crandall University, students will be required to pay a non-refundable $500 CAD acknowledgement payment by June 30th to reserve their seat, this payment will go towards their tuition payment.

Payment for the balance of the fall semester’s tuition and fees will be due by August 15th for the fall semester, and tuition and fees for the winter semester will be due by December 15th. Receipts will be issued upon payment by Crandall University.

  • Pay the non-refundable $100 application fee
  • You will be contacted by a Crandall Admissions representative. Additional document verification fees may be required.
  • Send official transcripts to Crandall Admissions (ensure English translations are available).

  • Apply for Study Permit: Go to Canada Immigration and Citizenship website to apply.
  • Ensure you have a valid passport.
  • Apply for Residence Housing if desired.
  • Look for housing options in Moncton, New Brunswick if you choose to live off campus.
  • Pay non-refundable tuition deposit of $500 to reserve your space. (can be paid after receiving student visa).
  • Pay non-refundable residence deposit of $400 to reserve your space if living in Residence. (Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis; to ensure housing please pay your deposit as soon as possible)
  • If you are participating in the English Language Acquisition program, you will need to pay your $2,400 tuition by July 15th. Please contact Crandall University if you require accommodations during this program.
  • Before August 15th, please contact us to make payment arrangements: itransfer@crandallu.ca
  • Ensure you have all your documents when you leave for Canada. (passport, ID, letter of acceptance, student visa, tuition receipt, bank statements)
  • It may take a couple weeks to open a Canadian bank account, please ensure you bring enough cash to get you through those weeks. (approx. $500 CAD)
