Crandall University is pleased to be hosting a public lecture featuring Dr. Sam Reimer, who will share research from his latest book, Caught in the Current: British and Canadian Evangelicals in an Age of Self-Spirituality (McGill-Queen’s University Press, 2023).

Dr. Reimer’s talk is titled “How self-spirituality is (mis)shaping the beliefs of Canadian evangelicals.” Based on 125 interviews with pastors and active evangelicals in Canada and Britain, Dr. Sam Reimer argues our modern culture is subtly eroding the orthodoxy of evangelicals, especially evangelical youth.  Come find out how this cultural sea-change affects doctrinal beliefs and ethics, and its implications for ministry.

The evening will also include a presentation of research from Dr. Dale Stairs, Crandall’s Vice President for Student Life and Transformation, entitled “Let’s Get it Right this Time! Discipleship Lessons from our History.”
