The best way to see all that Crandall University has to offer is to come for a campus tour. We can also customize a campus tour to your specific interests.
Crandall University is proud to be presenting the Distinguished Alumni Awards for 2021 to the following recipients:
Kevin (’87) and Sandra (‘87) Vincent have been serving the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches for over 25 yrs. Following 9 years in youth ministry at First Baptist Church in Dartmouth NS, they returned to Kevin’s hometown of Apohaqui, NB to re-plant a tiny congregation that would become Atlantic Community Church. From 1996 to 2016, they served that church, planting and leading that congregation into a multi-site church, with congregations in both Apohaqui and Hampton. In March of 2016 Kevin and Sandra left ACC to work with the CBAC in the area of new congregations. While Kevin has often played a lead role in the ministries they have served, Sandra has held volunteer and paid positions in those ministries (Communications Director, Assistant to the Associate Executive Minister) along with significant volunteer roles in the wider community with Sussex Minor Hockey and the Parent School Support Committee.
David grew up in Woodstock, NB and attended UBBTS in the early 60’s. After leaving Moncton, he attended Gordon College earning his Bachelor of Science in Education degree. Later, he received his Bachelor of Education from St. Thomas University. His teaching career spanned 30 years, and he retired as Principal of JMA High School in Salisbury. Upon retirement, David taught for almost two years in China. He was involved in Crandall through reunions with his classmates and served several years on the Board of Governors. He was an active member of the Board at the time of his death. David was an committed member of First Moncton United Baptist church, serving in many leadership roles and was an active member of the choir along with his wife Jean.
