The Spring 2026 Convocation set yet another record as Crandall’s largest Convocation yet, requiring four ceremonies. The first ceremony was held on Thursday evening for the Sussex Cohort of Master of Management. This is the first group of students to have graduated from Crandall University’s Sussex Cohort and the first Crandall Convocation hosted at Kingswood University. The second ceremony was held on Friday afternoon for Master of Management (Moncton Cohorts 34-36) and Master of Organizational Management (Cohorts 16-17). Then, the other two ceremonies were held on Saturday with Undergraduate students in the morning and Master of Management (Moncton Cohorts 37-39 & Domestic Online) and Master of Organizational Management (Cohort 15 & Domestic) in the afternoon.
Watch the livestreamed recordings of these ceremonies below.

During Spring Convocation 2026, Crandall University proudly awarded an honorary doctorate degree to Shaila Visser in recognition of her influential leadership, global impact in Christian ministry, and unwavering commitment to evangelism and the next generation.
As the National Director of Alpha Canada and Global Senior Vice-President of Alpha International, Visser has played a significant role in equipping churches around the world to share the message of Jesus with creativity, relevance, and compassion. She served as Co-Executive Producer of the Alpha Film Series and the Alpha Youth Film Series, resources now used in more than 100 countries and viewed by millions globally.
During her address, Visser delivered a heartfelt message centered on the transformative power of love. Speaking candidly about life’s many highs and lows, she emphasized that love is the essential force that sustains people through every season of life. She challenged graduates and attendees alike to intentionally love others well and to continually pray for the ability to love people as God does — with compassion, grace, patience, and selflessness.
Known for her warmth, clarity, and visionary leadership, Visser has become a respected voice across generations and church traditions. Her passion for young people, unity within the Church, and meaningful cultural engagement reflects the values celebrated by Crandall University through this honorary degree recognition.
Rooted in her Anglo-Indian heritage, Visser values diversity, hospitality, and mentoring emerging leaders. She lives in Vancouver with her husband Ryan and their two dogs, Talon and Benny.
