Throughout the year, we feature Crandall alumni by sharing their stories. Spotlight stories keep us connected with our alum. It highlights what they have been doing since leaving Crandall and how their time at Crandall has influenced their lives during and after their studies.
Today’s Alumni Spotlight Story features Jose Navarro, who graduated in 2025 with a Master of Management.
What program did you take? Master of Management
Which year did you graduate? 2025
Which country/province are you originally from (if you were an international student/or moved from another province within Canada): Dominican Republic.
Since Graduation:
Since leaving Crandall University, I’ve actually continued working there as the Manager of Domestic Student Accounts. In addition to my role, I’ve been expanding my skill set by learning data analysis tools, including Microsoft Power BI, to better leverage data for decision-making and reporting.
How did Crandall prepare you:
Crandall prepared me for the future by giving me the opportunity to interact and work with people from many different places. Back home, I had some experience working with other nationalities, but here I was able to learn how people approach things in different cultures and take the best practices from each.
Crandall University’s mission is to transform lives through quality education rooted in Christian faith. In every interaction with colleagues and students I try to play a part in that transformation by being supportive, understanding, and helping others grow.
