Crandall University is delighted to recognize the recent achievement of one of its distinguished emeritus faculty members. Stephen G. The full award announcement from The Word Guild can be found here.
The Return of the Kingdom offers readers a sweeping biblical theology: tracing themes of God’s kingship and humanity’s royal calling from Genesis through Revelation. The book argues that the Bible’s grand narrative centers on God’s reign and humanity’s role under that sovereign rule.
The award celebrates both the scholarly depth and accessibility of Dempster’s work, affirming its significance for pastors, students, and lay readers seeking a deeper understanding of Scripture. This achievement also reflects Crandall University’s ongoing commitment to rigorous biblical scholarship and Christian higher education.
The Return of the Kingdom is available for purchase through InterVarsity Press here.
Crandall University congratulates Dr. Stephen Dempster on this well-deserved honour and celebrates the continued impact of his teaching, writing, and scholarship.
