Each fall, as undergraduate students settle into a new academic year, the university hosts a special event to recognize their accomplishments from the previous term. The Academic Excellence Dinner brings together outstanding students for an evening of celebration — including first-year students who earned entrance scholarships for their exceptional high school performance, as well as returning students whose GPAs secured them a place on the Dean’s List.
During the evening, guests heard an inspiring message from Dr. Amy Lean MacArthur of Crandall’s Business Department, who encouraged everyone to “stay gold.”
