The Academic Office is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Mawuli Kofi Tay to the tenure track position of Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education.

“Joining the Crandall University community as a faculty member presents an exciting opportunity to integrate my Christian faith with my passion for helping students see mathematics as a tool for solving real-world problems and for empowering them to apply their learning beyond the classroom,” said Dr. Tay.
“After meeting with Dr. Tay on several occasions and observing him in the classroom, his passion for teaching Mathematics was unmistakable,” said Dr. Nancy Matthews, Dean of Education. “His ability to engage students with clarity, curiosity, and care reflects a deep commitment to both the discipline and the development of our future educators.”
Dr. Tay’s appointment will begin on July 1, 2025.
