Moncton – Although the initial event was postponed due to rain, our Student Life department prioritized finding a new date for this popular service opportunity, and it was rescheduled for Saturday, September 14th.
This year, CU Serves raised just over $300.00 and had 12 undergraduate students set up at Jean Coutu on Mountain Road. The funds raised are going to Community of Hope, a new program here in the city specifically set up to help women at risk of human trafficking.
With those funds, we were also able to participate in the annual Over The Edge fundraiser where we had Professor Eduoard Boccoz rappel down the Assumption Building.
