Crandall University is pleased to announce that, effective July 1, 2024, Dr. Robert Knowles will begin serving as Executive Vice President in addition to maintaining his current role as Vice President for Advancement. This change means that he will become responsible for many of the day-to-day affairs of the University that are addressed from the Office of the President.

Dr. Knowles is a Crandall graduate and has served as Vice President for Advancement for 12 years. Prior to serving in his current role, he served on the Board of Governors and the University Senate. He has extensive experience as a local church pastor and is an active volunteer in denominational and community settings.

Regarding the appointment, Crandall University President Dr. Bruce Fawcett commented, “The University has grown significantly over the past decade, and with this growth the administrative responsibilities in the President’s Office have increased as well. I am grateful that Dr. Knowles has agreed to take on this additional leadership role. I have the utmost confidence in his ability to carry out these new responsibilities with effectiveness and wisdom.”
