New faculty member to launch Centre to support not-for-profits

Crandall University is pleased to announce the hiring of Rev. Dr. Todd MacLeod as Instructional Support for Graduate Studies and Director of a new Centre for Not-for-Profit Management and Governance. Rev. Dr. MacLeod holds Doctor of Ministry from Acadia University.

In addition to his DMin, Rev. Dr. MacLeod also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Ottawa, and a Master of Divinity from Acadia University.

Rev. Dr. MacLeod served as the Lead Pastor at Jacksonville Baptist Church outside of Woodstock, NB from 2008 to 2023, Executive Pastor of Allison (The Journey) Church from 2005 to 2008, and has served as the Chaplain of the Grand Falls Rapids of the Jr. A Hockey League since 2019.

“When searching for online facilitators to help lead the discussion component of our online curriculum in the graduate management programs, we were very happy to receive an expression of interest from Todd MacLeod,” said Dr. Jon Ohlhauser, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost. “We believe his relational skills will be a strong asset to leading groups of students through exercises and discussion related to the content of their online courses.”

“I am excited about the potential of this new position at Crandall University. Through my interaction with many students, particularly in the Master of Management program, a wonderful opportunity exists to help influence lives and leadership,” Rev. Dr. MacLeod shared. “Through the Centre for Not-for-Profit Management and Governance, Crandall University will build helpful relationships with churches and other not-for-profit organisations throughout Atlantic Canada.”
