Nandini Malhotra
Master of Management, Class of 2023
Nandini graduated with her Master of Management degree at the Spring Convocation in May. She came from her home in India to study at Crandall. When asked about this experience Nandini shared that “travelling to a new country to study can be a daunting experience, even at the graduate level, but finding a welcoming, supporting community when you arrive can make all the difference! Thank you to the students, faculty, and staff whose support has made it possible for such a caring and welcoming environment to be created here at Crandall. It has been a truly invaluable experience here with many amazing people from different parts of the world.”
During her time at Crandall, Nandini served as Graduated Student Society (GSS) President. In this role, she worked extremely hard to create events for her fellow students to connect with each other and to make lasting memories. Many of the events helped students that were newcomers to Canada get to know each other as well as the city of Moncton and Canadian culture. Nandini balanced this commitment along with her schoolwork and employment.
Nandini now works in Moncton and uses her education and experience at Crandall in her career. When asked about the impact Crandall has had, she stated, “I would say everyone in the university from the professors to the finance department, to the President’s office, to the student life department are amazing, and I will cherish their support for a long time.”
Nandini’s presence around campus will be missed! We are happy she is staying in Moncton so she can come visit often! Her time serving as GSS president helped her fellow classmates experience community and connection at Crandall and in the wider Moncton community.
