Moncton – The Crandall University community was saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Greg Cook, a long-serving member of the University’s Board of Governors.

Currently serving as Vice-Chair of the Board, Cook also served many years as Chair, and provided leadership to the University through prosperous and challenging seasons alike.

In addition, Cook was also a gifted engineer and project manager, and oversaw the construction of two key buildings on campus: Stultz Hall and Mitton Court.

“Greg served as Chair of the Presidential Search Committee that extended an invitation for me to serve as President,” said Dr. Bruce Fawcett, President and Vice Chancellor. “He has been a trusted advisor to me and had a great love for the University and its mission.”

“I have always appreciated Greg’s humility and leadership,” said Sheila Cummings, Chair of Crandall’s Board of Governors. “He could see right to the heart of a matter and get the right people in place to find a solution – always quick to help and never in it for himself.”

“I invite everyone to join me in praying for Greg’s family during this time,” added Dr. Fawcett.
