Crandall University is excited to announce the hiring of Matt Brouwer as Director of Worship Arts beginning August 1, 2022. In this new position, Brouwer will work closely with the Dean of the Chapel to organize and lead the musical worship components of chapel as well as mentor students and help to create and develop student-led worship teams.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Religious Education with a Minor in Music from Prairie Bible College in Alberta, as well as a Certificate in Ministry and Music from Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford, British Columbia. He comes to Crandall with extensive experience as a worship leader, songwriter, and recording artist, having worked as a worship leader and director in various churches throughout Texas over the last 18 years.
On top of his leadership experience, Matt has five studio albums to his name, including Where’s Our Revolution, which won the 2010 Juno Award for Gospel Album of the Year. Matt has also received three Covenant Awards and 15 Covenant Award nominations.

Originally from the Maritimes, Matt and his family recently moved to Moncton from Texas.
