Psychology at Crandall

In Crandall’s Psychology program, students study individual development as well as behaviour in a social context. In addition to exploring how the human mind works, students learn to think critically and gain insights into themselves and others.

Students study under professors who are experts in their fields, and have the opportunity to study an array of engaging academic areas such as early childhood development, forensic psychology, criminology, sports psychology, marriage and family counselling, and health psychology.

Outcomes and Careers

Psychology students learn to evaluate research, growing their understanding of psychological theories and how to apply them. Graduates with a degree in Psychology are well-prepared to work in service and counselling organizations and to pursue advanced studies in psychology or a related field.

A Bachelor of Arts in Psychology is a great launch pad for work in critical areas such as speech therapy, counselling, law, human resources, mental health care, education, occupational therapy, and more! Recent grads have gone on to pursue additional degrees including Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology at the Université de Moncton, Law at UNB, and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at University of Western Ontario.

Fun Fact!

We have three primary full-time professors who are each experts in their fields and teach courses according to their expertise!
