Moncton – Dr. Bruce Fawcett (President and Vice Chancellor) and Dr. Jon Ohlhauser (Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs) have announced the appointment of Dr. Edward Newell as Dean of Graduate Studies at Crandall University.
With the recent decision to restructure the University into graduate and undergraduate divisions, Dr. Newell will direct all Master’s degree programs, including Crandall’s Master of Education, Master of Organizational Management, and Master of Management.
A graduate of Western University’s Ivey School of Business, Newell brings more than 20 years of teaching experience, 10 years of pastoral organizing, international teaching experience, and an EdD from the teacher’s college at Columbia University to the role. As a young adult, Newell also operated a sizeable student contracting business.
Presently serving at Crandall University as Associate Professor of Education, Newell will collaborate closely with Crandall’s distinguished faculties of Education and Management in his new role starting in January 2022.
