Crandall University Launches New Online Graduate Program

Moncton – In an effort to bring its quality programs to more students locally and globally, Crandall University is preparing to offer graduate programs online, starting with the popular Master of Management.

Beginning in January 2022, Crandall will launch its inaugural cohort for the online Master of Management. The 36-credit hour program is designed for part-time study, and offers students the opportunity to connect with faculty and students in a hybrid online format. “The nine courses are designed to be flexible for our students’ busy lives,” stated Gui Loth, Senior Director of Remote Learning. “Students will work at their own pace each week but will have opportunities to connect and interact with faculty and other students at scheduled intervals.”

The program also includes an applied research project, and the entire degree can be completed in as little as 24 months.

“During the past two years, it has become evident that the desire for students to learn from home has increased,” stated Chris Robb, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management. “We have received more inquiries for online education over the past year than ever before, especially from students looking to advance their career with a graduate degree.”

The popularity of Crandall’s Master of Management program, combined with the successes seen by its graduates in the wider community made it the clear choice for the University’s first foray into a fully online educational experience. “The Master of Management is designed to give our graduates an advantage in the marketplace. Uniquely focusing on strategic management concepts, the Master of Management provides specialization where many MBA’s do not,” said Dr. Dannie Brown, Dean of Remote Learning and Associate Professor of Management at Crandall University. “The Master of Management has become Crandall’s most popular graduate program over the past few years. We are extremely excited to bring the strength and creditability of this program to an interactive and connective online platform.”

Courses are held in 8-week blocks, and students may enroll at any time. “We believe this program aligns well with the goals of working professionals who are looking to enhance their management skills or get that next promotion,” said Chris Robb. “I am excited about the flexibility that is designed into this program, but also with the opportunity for students to learn and connect with each other.”
