Moncton – With the start of a new term approaching, Crandall University has announced updated protocols for campus health and safety.
Based on the most current advice from the Province of New Brunswick and Public Health, the new protocols are designed to balance the loosened restrictions of the current Green Phase of the Province’s Recover Plan with the reality that COVID-19 continues to be a part of our reality both locally and globally.
The updated parameters may be found on the Crandall University website, but a few highlights include the lifting of mask requirements for students and employees, and a return to standard room capacities for classrooms and other University spaces.
Visitors to the University who have not yet been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are asked to wear a mask and maintain physical distance during their visit.
All students and employees are strongly encouraged to consider the benefits of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, both in terms of their own health and as part of creating a safer community environment on campus and off.
These protocols will also be re-evaluated regularly by Crandall’s COVID-19 Advisory Group, and adjusted as necessary according to the latest advice from Public Health and the Government of New Brunswick.
