COVID-19 Orange Phase Update

With the Moncton region’s return to the Orange phase after three weeks in Red (and four weeks of online classes), Crandall University’s COVID-19 Advisory Committee has announced updated details for University operations going forward.

Under the current Orange phase,

  • Undergraduate classes that had moved online during the Red phase will begin to transition back to in-person instruction;
  • Academic buildings may once again be entered via Murray Hall’s main doors as well as the Stultz Hall main entrance;
    • Campus remains closed to the public – visitors are asked to schedule appointments in advance;
  • Corrie’s Café, the Bookstore, and the Rawlyk Library will be resuming regular hours over the next few days;
  • On-campus dining in the cafeteria will be available only to meal plan holders;
  • Athletics, Chapel, and other co-curricular activities will operate according to their respective operational guidelines for this phase.

Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to monitor their Crandall email for complete details and the most up-to-date information; questions regarding the operation of specific services or facilities may be directed to the relevant departments.

The health and safety of the entire Crandall community remains a top priority in all circumstances, and updates to University operations are designed to meet or exceed the evolving provincial guidelines as well as to provide the best possible educational experience for students.
