As it manages the pandemic response within the Province, the Government of New Brunswick has announced a return to the Orange Phase of Recovery for Zone 1, the Moncton region, as well as updated regulations pertaining to the Orange Phase.
In light of these changes, Crandall University’s COVID-19 Advisory Committee, led by Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jon Ohlhauser, has announced a shift in operational colour for the University, with modifications and clarifications made in response to the Province’s updated guidelines.
Crandall has been able to offer the majority of undergraduate classes in person through the fall term thanks to already small class sizes and adaptations to available spaces that allow for the necessary physical distance.
The Committee’s announcement includes the continuation of in-person classes while increasing safeguards for students, faculty, and staff. The new guidelines take effect as of 11:59pm on November 19, 2020.
Members of the Crandall University community are asked to consult their email for complete details on the updated guidelines, and to continue to monitor their accounts for updates pertaining to individual courses, facilities and services.
