Convocation 2018 Highlights
Posted in on May 11, 2018Years of study all come to fruition as graduates cross the stage to receive their degrees at convocation – the ceremony that marks the end of one stage of life and the beginning of the next. Around 150 people join the ranks of Crandall alumni with degrees/certificates/awards in hand, celebrating with the hundreds of friends, family, faculty, and officials in attendance (and watching online).
Here are a few of the highlights of this year’s convocation weekend.
Distinguished Alumni Award

The evening before Convocation, Crandall Alumni and Friends gather for the presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Award. This year’s recipients are Daniel Ingersoll and Rev. Sandra Sutherland.

2018 Leadership Award

Graduand Address
Danielle Reimer, graduating with her BA Honours in English, shared an inspiring a brief cross-section of the life of a student and the growth and accomplishment that comes from studying in an environment surrounded by close friends, tough but caring professors, and “a good God in our corner.”
