The best way to see all that Crandall University has to offer is to come for a campus tour. We can also customize a campus tour to your specific interests.
This year we celebrate our first graduates from the Worship Arts Minor here at Crandall University. Under the direction of Tim Milner, Jake Freeze, Hannah Freeze and Angela MacKinnon have become the backbone of the worship ministry at Crandall over the last 4 years. As part of the program, these three have led worship for hundreds of chapel services on-campus and weekend worship services at local churches as part of Luminos, Crandall’s worship band. They have also represented Crandall with excellence at larger events like Spring Forth 2016, and on spring tours – to western Canada in 2016, and to the eastern seaboard of the USA in 2017. We wish them success and the Lord’s blessing in their future music and worship ministries.
The Worship Arts Minor is designed to be taken alongside any other degree program at Crandall. It provides Crandall students who have musical talent, paired with a heart for worship, the opportunity to fine-tune their passion and gifts through worship team involvement and traditional in-class instruction. The most exciting part of this program is the way it challenges and prepares students for real-world worship leading in the local church. As the program continues to establish, we are seeking students with a heart for God and a desire to grow in their craft as musicians and leaders.
Today’s churches are struggling to keep up with the demand for skilled worship leaders who understand how to operate in the modern worship music genre, using modern technologies, reaching the next generation, and enfolding multiple generations. Are you interested in growing your skills in this important ministry? Do you know someone who would benefit from this kind of intensive instruction?
