Moncton – Crandall University will host the 2019 ACAA Basketball Championships in Moncton, NB. The championship tournament brings together the best 6 women’s teams and the best 6 men’s teams in Atlantic Canada for one weekend to determine conference champions and representatives at the CCAA national championships held in Quebec City, QC (women) and Vancouver, BC (men).

The Crandall Chargers are coming off of a silver medal finish last season. The women failed to qualify for the championship tournament held in Truro but have rebuilt and are ready to compete for the crown this year. This is the first time ever that Crandall University has secured the right to host this prestigious basketball event.

ACAA basketball member schools include: University of Kings College Blue Devils (Halifax, NS), Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics (Halifax, NS), Dalhousie Agricultural College Rams (Truro, NS), Holland College Hurricanes (Charlottetown, PE), Mount Allison University Mounties (Sackville, NB), University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves (Saint John, NB), Saint Thomas University Tommies (Fredericton, NB) and the host Crandall University Chargers (Moncton, NB).
