Crandall soccer athletes were recognized this evening at the 2017 ACAA Soccer Athletics banquet, hosted in Saint John. Both men and women soccer teams experienced excellent seasons, seeing record wins and showcasing exceptional athletic talent.
Although all athletes are to be commended for their efforts, five Crandall soccer players were recognized at the banquet for their contribution and talent this season.
Women’s Soccer:
Lauren Bushey – ACAA Keeper of the Year
Paige Lewis – First Team All-Conference
Lauren Bushey (Keeper) – First Team All-Conference
Alyssa Dykeman – Second Team All-Conference
Men’s Soccer:
Abdul Nyei – Rookie of the Year
Abdul Nyei – First Team All-Conference
Joshua Bokma – Second Team All-Conference
Kevin Talbot, Crandall’s soccer coach for the women’s team, was also recognized and awarded Coach of the Year.
Congratulations to both men’s and women’s soccer teams on their successful seasons. Crandall looks forward to the outcome as the men’s team heads into playoffs this weekend.
