Dr. John Stackhouse appeared on national television in Australia

In July, Dr. John Stackhouse appeared on national television in Australia as a guest on “Q and A,” the leading public affairs program in that country. The hour-long panel discussion ranged from discussion of business ethics and ecological responsibility in coal mining to the rise of Islam and freedom of speech.

Professor Stackhouse was consulting with, and lecturing in, The Scots College, one of Sydney’s top private schools, helping them improve their scholarly life and their application of Christian values across the curriculum. During his three-week visit, his third Down Under, he also lectured at Christ College, the Presbyterian seminary in Sydney, and at Alphacrucis College, the leading Christian undergraduate university in Australia.

Professor Stackhouse also published the July cover story for Faith Today, the magazine of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, a celebration of evangelicalism in Canada since Confederation. Stackhouse has furnished the back-page column for Faith Today since 2009.
