B.Ed. grad nominated for CDN$1.3M prize

Congratuarmand-doucet-social-graphics2-1lations to Armand Doucet (B.Ed. ’12), on being selected as one of the 50 finalists, out of a pool of 20,000 nominees from 179 countries, for the Varkey Foundation Global Teaching Prize 2017! The Varkey Foundation Global Teaching Prize, which focuses on teaching excellence for all children, is worth CDN$1.3 million, the largest award of its kind.

Armand currently teaches at Riverview High School, and in May, was one of the recipients of the national Prime Minister’s Awards for Teaching Excellence!
