Office hours are from Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Crandall University has 2 computer labs.  One is located in the back corner of the Library (Room 158) on the first level and consists of 21 computers.  The other lab (Room 168) is located on the first floor down past the book store and has 29 computers.  There are also 9 computers setup for public use along the library wall leading to the Library Computer lab.  All computers at Crandall University are currently installed with Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3 and Microsoft Office 2007.  There are 2 lab printers (1 printer in each lab) setup for students to print to when they are in the computer labs.  Cost of printing is $0.10 per page and can be paid in advance to a print balance on their computer user account.  The University also has wireless access throughout using the 802.11g wireless standard.  Wireless is also offered to the Colburne House Residence free of charge.

Students at Crandall University also have email setup through a Windows Live Hotmail account made special for students.  This email is to keep for life and has up to 5GB for storage of documents and files where one can access anywhere anytime.  Our infrastructure also includes a fibre optics network with high speed T1 internet.  It has nine virtual servers running VMWare and Windows Server 2008 on a gigabit powered backend.  All classrooms have a laptop with wireless and hardwire internet connection and a DVD/VCR combo for students to use for classroom presentations.  Each classroom (except for a few smaller ones with LCD Flat screen TVs) has a LCD projector installed in the ceiling for lectures and presentations.  Four rooms are installed with Smartboard technology.  With all the above mentioned items, we anticipate meeting your computing needs.

We wish to welcome all new students to the Crandall campus. We would like to introduce you to our Crandall Network. Crandall Computer Services makes every effort to create a computer lab environment that helps students, faculty and staff carry out the educational, research and service missions of the Crandall University. Computer use has become an essential part of education (Link to computer use Policy).
