Women’s Basketball Coach Wins National Music Award

Teah Bailey, Crandall’s Women’s Basketball Coach, has recently received the Gospel Music Association of Canada’s Rap Album of the Year Award in Edmonton, Alberta.

Teah, AKA One8Tea, is a Christian Hiphop artist based in Moncton, NB. His album Reverence has also been nominated for the 2017 East Coast Music Awards Gospel Recording of the Year where he’ll also perform. These awards will be held in Saint John, NB in April.

Reverence is a 13 song project released in June 2016 with features from artists like Jenn Adams (Moncton), David Mackenzie (Hillsong University, Australia), 2x Grammy Award nominee Fresh IE (Winnipeg), Scribe (Winnipeg) and many more.

One8Tea has toured and shared stages with artists such as Paul Brandt, Fresh IE, Newsboys, Sky Terminal, Chelsea Amber, Informants and more. He has performed at major events like the East To West Festival (Shediac, NB), YC Newfoundland (Goose Bay, Labrador), Love Winnipeg (Winnipeg, MB) and Springforth Youth Conference (Moncton, NB).
